Theresa May sings 'Memory'

Theresa May's 'Memory'
by West End Producer
Sung to the tune of 'Memory' on the day of the 'Put it To The People March'.

Brexit, not a sound from the Cameron,
Has UK lost her memory?
She’s not smiling alone.
In the lamplight, the voter’s march collect at my feet
And a petition begins to moan.

Brexit, all alone in the commons
I can dream of the old days
I was ‘remain’ way back then
I remember the time I knew what happiness was
Let the memory live again.

Every voter seems to beat
A referendum calling
Boris mutters and my country stutters
And soon
EU is calling

Longer
I must have a lot longer,
I must think of a new plan
Or I’ll have to give in,
When the vote comes
My third defeat – a memory too
New referendum? Let it begin.

(followed by a chorus of Theresa May’s voice getting weaker and weaker as she coughs out fur balls and purrs like a cat).
